After your reply and a consistant "no answer" at Phoenix Arms phone, I went old school and wrote them a letter. Much to my surprise I received a phone call the day the letter arrived (much earlier than I had expected) at their offices. They informed me that the gun was manufactured in 1998--so I was WAY off on my recollection of purchase date--and that I had registered the gun for warranty purposes and that's all they could legally tell me. I was very satisfied because it was the warranty I wanted to nail down.
Thanks for you help!
My hat's off to the good folks at Phoenix Arms for such a personal and prompt reply!
