Reboring and sleeving is a possible..it is the exact caliber that may be a problem Check with Randy Redman firstname.lastname@example.org Nick, there is another option that was used for years DeHaas gets into it in detail, but basically what you do is salvage the shank end of the barrel and make a bushing out of it..then a caliber choice barrel is sweated/epoxied into place(very easy to clock a Octagonal barrel this way) and a cross pin is installed in such a way that ir is away from the chamber...then the barrel is chambered and headspaced. Besides in DeHaas's books, the process by him is also contained in the out of print NRA GUNSMITHING GUIDE-UPDATED and is likely the EZ way to do it!
