Does anyone know where I can find a parts diagram for this pistol? Also, what size screws(2) it takes for the trigger guard? Please email me at: Skiludd@aol.com Ski [crying]

F&W made this series of revolvers from 1875 to 1890. There 3 versions. a 7-shot .32 cal..a 6-shot .38 cal and a 5-shot 44 cal. All were DA solid frame designs with a loading gate pivoted on the rt rear side of the frame behind the cylinder. All had birdseye grips..the name BRITISH BULLDOG was roll stamped into the top strap above the cylinder. You may be able to find data under the name of Forehand Arms Company and Hopkins & Allen. H&A continued to make and market they gun under the Forehand until 1902 It is generally though that these guns were from old stock and not new manufacture..meaning parts should be similar and as any schematic may also be. You can contact ABBY at www.cornellpubs.com to see if she has a repro catalog or schematic and parts list available. To determine what the screw TPI and size is..taper a piece of hardwood dowel into the threaded hole..the existing threads will be cut into the dowel and the diameter will also be cut simply measure and count. Also Forum regulars Bill Goforth and Jim Hauff have done considerable research into this class of revolver. You can access their e-mail contact info from this sites Memebrs roster.
