Original trigger tip broke on my 2nd gen SAA, so I ordered a new (2nd gen) trigger from Numrich, however after I tried installing it, the hammer wasn’t moving. So after future inspection I noticed there is significantly more metal on the rear of the new trigger than the original, which is not allowing the notches of the hammer to move past it when cocking it. I’m a little nervous to shave off any metal, as the original trigger barely has any metal behind the screw hole. In picture, new trigger on left, original on right. Any advice on how to proceed? Thanks
Please return the Colt trigger and photo's to Attn: #32 and I will see about an exchange. Do not try to shave off any of the trigger. You are welcome to print a prepaid return label from our web site. Thank you.
