I was tasked to fix an old LC Smith hammerless sise by side .12 gauge. The forearm will not snap into place. I took the forearm iron out and found a really small bar spring that is broken. I can’t find this spring on any of the schematics and can’t find a replacement part. Any help in finding this part would be GREATLY appreciated!!
The L.C. Smith spring pictured is the forend iron lock spring. Too order, email your order information to firstname.lastname@example.org using #999999 for $7.25. Ask the rep to put the order on hold and to Attn: #32. Thank you.

Ok, I’m an idiot and did not take a pic of what I was taking apart. Can someone ID this block that is on top of the forearm Lock spring and do I have it in correctly? Also I need to order a screw for the front end of the forearm and I can seem to find the correct screw. ANY help would be appreciated!!
This is the screw I need. Couldn’t get it to load in the other reply .
I have not seen any examples of L.C. Smith forend irons with the block you have pictured. They all have had the screw going through the lock spring without the block.
To order a used forend iron screw, email email@example.com and use #999999 for $3.00. Ask the rep to put the order on hold and to Attn: #32.
It was in there when I took it apart, I’ve seen them somewhere before but I can’t remember how it was installed, with the bevel forward or backward. Thanks for info on the screw
