Hi Frank, I had trouble also. Its above the box you type your reply in. There are ten boxes with images in them starts with B then one with I then U etc. the one you want is the sixth from the left. good luck.

Images can not be uploaded here, but you can "point" to and show any image on the internet - such as an account you set up at Photobucket (to store your own images).

When you click Reply or Post new Topic a new screen comes up with some button above the box where you would type. It starts with a B button (for bold)forum image, and then an I Button (for Italic) forum image followed by a U Button (for Underline) forum image. If you point at those buttons and don't move the mouse, some alt text should appear telling you what each one is. When you click on a button, it inserts text into your reply/new post.

When you click the mountains with the sun button (aka Image)forum image, it simply adds the following text (called tags):

and in between those image tags you would post your image web address. Example:

You can also high-light text (by "dragging" your mouse across the text) and then click a button as well. That will put the tags on each end of the high-lighted text.

So, as you use this forum more and more, you will learn these tags and eventually you won't need the buttons. The above "code" was used by clicking the 5th button.

FYI - These buttons are NOT available when you use the quick reply link at the bottom of the thread. If you TYPE the actual tag it will work using quick reply.

If you want to SEE the buttons, then you must click ADD REPLY button toward the bottom of the page:

These Forums are a package called YAF (short for YetAnotherForum). Most of the questions and answers about using the forums can be found right on YAF's forums at: http://forum.yetanotherforum.net/

Also, a few people have inquired about spell checkers. Most browsers (like Firefox and Opera) come with a spell checker built in, but Internet Explorer does not. If you would like a spell checker for IE, you can find it here: http://www.iespell.com/

Once you download it and it is installed, you simply right-click the box, and choose CHECK SPELLING

just a quick note on the image size....

640x480 is PERFECT for showing on the web..

but if you are going to keep the digital images for printing, then i recommend that you use

the full res that your camera will do.

I use IrFAnView to view, save, rotate, crop, etc. my digital images. I keep all my images

at full image size onto CD, and then make them smaller for viewing or sharing on the

web. Two folders on my computer in the images... 1) Original 2) Resized

Irfanview can be download for free at http://www.download.com

Dennis, I think it depends on the type of camera people are using. My camera has it's own

program called < finepixviewer > I can do lots of things within this program. The main thing for me is photo storage. I don't know anything about camera phones. Are you using one? I think, not sure though maybe camera phones only take one size photo.

Hey Dennis could the Avatar be made larger.

It's hard to make out with some of them.

See what you can do about that, if possible.

May you be in heaven one hour before the devil knows your dead.
