I have a c96 mauser that I am very happy with and I am trying to replace what needs to be replaced so I can keep shooting it. I understand it's an old gun but I've come across stray astra 900 parts here and there and now I have been slowly stockpiling parts for both pistols. However, this site doesn't seem to offer any astra 900 parts. I'm a bit of a newbie to collecting but I'd like to put together a broomhandle of nice/newer parts. I know the two guns look very similar on the outside but the lower receiver/frame on the astra 900 is put together differently. I'm also aware that if numbers don't match it loses value and collectability. I bought my c96 to shoot it, not put it in a showcase. Bottom line does anyone know where I can find astra 900 parts or a c96 reproduction frame? A silly question I'm sure, Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Pete
Pete, I went to AOL and typed ASTRA MODEL 900 into the header and hit search and came up with a near endless list of sources...try it Run the same thing thru both Google and Bing

Thank you Ezequiel. I have tried search engines and I come to find out parts for the Astra 900 are rare and usually only show up on auction sites. I guess that should have been obvious. I was just wondering if there was another site like Numrich that might have Astra 900 parts. I guess not. I'll just have to try and piece the nice stuff together as I can. Thank you anyway. Pete

Also Randy Redman of Redman's Rifling and Reboring does a lot of work on the 96..I don't know if he works the 900, but you can ask..I do know that he sells surplus parts for the 96 and may do the same for the 900,, Also. he may have sources besides the one I am aware of...Do a Google search on him
