Gun was made by High Standard and has been out of production for many years...However, recently, High Standard has been reborn(in nevada) and has started making some of the old models again along with parts for some of the others. Check with them at www.highstandard.com to see if they have what you need or a process for converting the original safety. Also There is a gentleman who has info on Sears/High Standard paperwork that may be able to direct you in a search Contact via: johnjr@highstandard.org and you may find parts with Bob Shea, a Conneticut gunsmith who acquired many parts from HS when they went out of buisness. His contact info is: Bob Shea 381 Quinnepac Ave. North Haven,CT06473 the last phone # I have is(203)239-1012

Try the e-mail as JohnJr@highstandard.org..it use to be good..maybe he changed it..... If that doesn't work Google High Standard manuals or Sears Roebuck manuals or even the JC Higgins Manuals ....manuals...that is his prime concern and the manual owners or factory should tell you if the partis/was made..a direct access is via: www.histandard.info/manuals/sears/pashguns/index.html the man in question is John Stimson Jr and he neither buys or sells parts...he may know IF the part was ever offered or..perhaps can direct you to someone who does...but..the best bet there...IMHO is Bob Shea
