Hello! I am reaching out to see if I can gain some insight and help into restoring a Smith & Wesson Model 686-3 (Stamped on frame, but it is a 4" Barrel).
This was inherited after my father passed and it was a wedding gift from his friend group. I would love to get it working again and prepare to pass it on to my own son in the future.
It appears to be missing (numbers as shown on schematic)
1. Extractor Rod
2. Center Pin 3. Center Pin Spring
5. Extractor Spring
6. Gas Ring
9. Extractor
At some point prior to his passing I believe the extractor/extractor Rod had crossthreaded. It never got resolved or put back together and I can't seem to find any of the parts on hand anymore. If anyone can help me source the correct parts and help me make sure I'm not missing anything it would be deeply appreciated.

I would recommend having the firearm checked by a qualified gunsmith to make sure there are no other issues or parts needed.
