I have a 16 gauge Stevens hammer single shot shotgun. I need a couple of springs for it but the model number doesn't come up anywhere. On the inside bottom of the forend 773 DJ is engraved. On the bottom of the barrel 773 is engraved. On the top of the barrel PATENTED AUGUST 12 1913. On one side of the receiver TRADE MARK STEVENS. The other side of the receiver says J STEVENS ARMS & TOOL CO CHICOPEE FALSS MA U.S.A.
The Stevens single shot shotgun could be anyone of a number of single shots that Savage/Stevens made over the years. Take a look at the schematics on our Savage Model 85 & Savage Model 107 lists on our web site to compare parts. Otherwise, we will need photo's to try and I.D. the shotgun.
