I am looking at your Product #: 1479420 in hopes of replacing my broken 1400 MKII forend. Regretfully, the description on your site says that it is for a 1400, 1400 MKII which is confusing. I was under the impression that a 1400 forend would not fit a 1400 MKII. Can you confirm that this product will fit my 1400 MKII?
Item #1479420 has the "U" cut of the Winchester 1400 MKII, but will fit and function for both the Winchester 1400 and the Winchester 1400MKII.
Winchester 1400 MKII forends will work on the early 1400's, but the early 1400 forends will not work on the 1400 MKII's.
