I just received the 3 items - Product #:1048330 -Winchester 94 Rear Sight Assembly, Blued, New Reproduction Items. The bluing is less than desirable. The surface was a rough, black, dull (like light rust). I had to lightly polish all surfaces, to get any shine. Any more polishing appeared to be removing the bluing surface. I have it now covered with a light grease to see if what bluing (or whatever it is) is left will set and stay. I have never has a quality issue with Numrich parts before. Was this a bad Batch? Thanks
Our current inventory of #1048330 appears to be a "dull" blue and not a polished "gloss" blue. We have been selling this particular batch for well over a year. You are welcome to return the sight you received for a refund or exchange, but all we currently have are the "dull" blue variety.
