Hello all, I have a .22 single shot bolt action i was given when i was 12 years old. That has been 51 years ago. A few years back my bolt started acting up. When i pulled the bolt back the irem on the end rotated. So before i could place the bolt forward i had to twist the end pice so it would slide in the wooden slot on the rifle. So rifle shoots fine. ust have to continiously turn that bolt. With my aging hands it is difficult to turn that piece.
With the above said what happened to my rifle? Local gun shop said the rifle was sold by Sears back in the day but is actually a Winchester rifle with a 121/141 bolt. I was told to find a repo or used bolt to replace it.
Need some help. Can anyone help me out with this issue?
