i am looking for a replacement brass rear bead sight (vent rib) for a Ted Williams Model 200.
The dimensions of the bead sight and depth of threads will also be helpful. Thank you in advance!
The gun was made by High Standard and uses their parts..however the beads are generic...if our host doesn't have one Check with the Tech Staff at www.brownells.com on a replacement. threads_: 2 sizes are generally used 3/56 or 6/48 and are made in brass or silver coloted with bead choices of .067......130 or .170 rib mounted shotgun beads are used with the small mounted mid rib and the larger one at the muzzle.......removal can be an issue as some are installed with a thread locker liquid The use of an electric soldering iron...the tip applied directly to the bead to soften a thread locker compound,,,,, Brownelss also offer directions..tools and tutorials on the process of removal and replacement,,,,,,,they also have taps to chase the threads with

Many shotguns with a vent rib use a front sight bead near the muzzle end of the barrel and a middle bead approx. midway down the rib. Middle beads are smaller in diameter and use a smaller thread size, typically 2x56 TPI. Depth information is not available. We assume that when you are referring to a rear bead it is actually the middle bead you need.
Besides 2 x 56 TPI, some middle beads are 2x44 TPI also.
