I can not find the Trade name Ruso in any of my references, Chicago was a trade name marketed by Hibbard, Spencer, Barttell and Co. of Chicago, Maker unknown. It sounds like another trade name gun from the 30s or 40s. If you want to round up the usual suspects, then you can alway blame Crescent Firearm Co. Value on these single barrel trade name guns are not very high,40 t0 70 in exc cond. down to 20 as in tomato stake

BJames, Me thinks there are more things on the gun. Is this "RUSO" inside the image of a chicken on the left side of the frame? If so look carefully, you will see a stylized C in front of the ruso making it "CRUSO". Is the MODEL W on the right or left side of the frame? On top of the barrel does it say 12GA. CHOKE or something else? Does it have H.S.B.& Co. in addition to CHICAGO marked on the frame (usually the left side). Are there serial numbers (usually behind the trigger guard)? Are the serial numbers all numbers or do they start with a letter such as "A"? It may be a Cresent or it may be a Harrington & Richardson model of 1908 or something else. Send a more detail discription to get a more complete answer.
