Many guns made during the early to mid 20th Century were marked with "Trade or Store Brand Names" for a specific distributor or retail chain store such as Western Auto or Sears instead of the manufacturer's name. The Huntsman 25C was manufactured by Marlin, and is also better known as the Model 55 Goose Gun.
