I have a Beretta Model 71 Jaguar(.22 Cal) handgun that has lost its slide catch. In all the research I've been able to do, the model 70 series Beretta's are listed as the same basic fire arm with Cal. & barrel lengths etc. being the difference between the models. In addition, every schematic I've seen lists the gun as a model 70/71 & the parts pictures look to be identical between the Jaguar & the Puma (except those that are Cal. specific of course) All that said, I was wondering if anyone could confirm if the: Slide Catch w/trigger pin Slide Catch Spring Slide Catch Spring Screw All listed under the model 70 Puma would fit the smaller caliber model 71 Jaguar. My grandpa bought the gun new back in the early 60's & I inherited it when he passed away in '94. It's a great little gun & all my kids have learned to shoot a handgun using it. After out last outing earlier this summer I noticed the Slide Catch was missing & have been trying to locate one ever since & which I have found for the model 70 Puma. As a bonus question...It's always been missing one of the hand grip screws & I can't seem to find one anywhere!!! Does anyone know a source for replacements, either genuine, or reproduction? Thanks a ton for your help on this, I really appreciate it. Blake
