Good Condition? As YOU see it or by the BOOK Good condition? By the book.."Good" is middle down condition....Win. Model 97 in Good condition as per The Gun Digest Book of Modern Gun Values is: $435 However there are several version of the Win Model 1897 and some are valued higher than others...and you do not give enough data to determine which you have and what the actual condition is!

The serial # is 277998 .It is the field model I think they call it with a 30" barrel and a full choke.The grooves in the fore stock have virtually no wear and the metal butt plate has no wear on the checkered pattern.The stock has so scratches but nothing major .The finishes are all original I think but I don't know enough about antique guns.One thing I can say is that it looks like my 870 Rem. I bought in 2000 I use for deer has see as much use and abuse .Hope this helps.Thanks
