Is this the spring that is fed inside the inner magazine tube? My original magazine falls out on occasion. I read that this could be due to a loss of spring tension.

Yes. #800100-07U is the magazine spring that goes inside the inner magazine tube. These are reproductions and may need to be cutdown to the proper length to fit the tube and give the proper tension.
