Hello, I have an old Sears model 100.100A shotgun that I need help on replacing the forend spring. Several shotguns share this part. I have ordered 2 and broken both of them. I do have another one ordered. Any thoughts or instructions would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom
The Savage forend spring #148160 is currently out stock as we have had an issue with many of these breaking. The inventory has been pulled and sent to be heat treated. If the latest spring you ordered breaks, email help@gunparts corp.com and a refund will be issued if the springs are not back in inventory.
