WILL ALL COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY BARRELS INTERCHANGE?
Not all Colt Single Action Army barrels interchange. Generation 1 barrels, made between 1873 - 1941, include 20 TPI (threads per inch). Generation 2 and 3 barrels, manufactured from 1956-1974 and 1976 to the present, include 24 TPI.
